We will go on a sensory experience that will captivate us at every turn, focusing on the beauty of the small things, that which is hidden between the streets, the shadows, the squares and the lanes. We will travel to a Córdoba that doesn’t exist anymore but is still all around us. We will enter the heart of the Old Jewish Quarter, where the Sephardi lived, and soon after you will hear the rabbi’s blessing seeping through the whiteswashed walls of the Synagogue: “May Jehovah bless and protect you; may he show you his face and grant you peace.” We will also discover the lesser-known Muslim Córdoba which is full of wonder, including the endless, twisiting alleyways and the Arabian bathhouses that line them. By avoiding the distraction of the city, we can focus on the smaller and magical details that are often hidden to the naked eye.
