World heritage site

Leaving behind the Royal Stables, we enter one of the most unique areas of Córdoba. We will quickly discover what’s different: its streets tell us about the urban planning that was involved. The houses found here tell us more about the city. In San Basilio, the patios are different to those in other parts of the city while still being linked to the city’s cultural history. The patios are common zones, for toilets, washing basins, showers, clotheslines. These patios are shared by the neighours. Discover these simple houses, hidden away, as they are generously opened to visitors to make us feel welcome and part of their community.
