Guadalquivir, between the waters of the big river

Here is where it all started and, possibly, Córdoba owes it everything: Guadalquivir, or Betis as the Romans knew it, starting with its streams in the Sierra, brings a wealth of water to the city and is a veritable motorway for the city, connecting it with the rest of the world. On this tour, we will listen to testimonies of the relationship between the city and the river which forms a compressed history of Córdoba while walking along a short section of the river. It was right here, not too long ago, that it all began and this can be seen among the surroundings, from the bridge, to the castle, to the gates, to the windmill or the islands, the history is there for everyone to see.
